Ah yes, it is official. In lieu of the standard bloggery format which haunts my darkest dreams with its painful banality, I have elected to set up shop on the internet proper. This environment will require some fine tuning in the coming weeks, but thus far is coming along nicely.
As some of you may know, I am a disgruntled musician/writer living in Brooklyn, NY, with a bit too much time on my hands. I recently got a gig playing bass for a musical theater production but other than that and a few other isolated incidents have been unemployed since my disdainful exit from the sales world last year. It has been something of a rough road but that is not the topic I will be covering here. This will be a sounding board for my experiences and thoughts, but also serve as the first place of publication of a number of projects I’m currently working on.
Hopefully it is an enjoyable ride. I must admit that, while perhaps its just my internet naïveté talking, I am excited to have a website. Downright giddy, perhaps. It also seemed to me to be a medium whereby I could get done what I wanted to get done. So between the ego-stroke and the functionality of the thing, I am looking forward to this endeavor.
